Verifying your PayPal account allows you to receive extra benefits, such as the ability to transfer more money to a bank account. However, these benefits are not available until PayPal processes your information and updates your status. If you have recently applied for a verified account and are curious about the status of your account, you can check your status online.
Step 1
Open a Web browser and type “http://www.paypal.com” into the address bar. Hit “Enter.”
Step 2
Type your email address and password in the Paypal login box, then click “Log In.”
Step 3
Click “My Account,” then click “Overview.”
Step 4
Find the section labeled “Status.” This section has a value of “Verified” or “Unverified.” If it says “Verified,” you have a verified Paypal account.
